New Year, New Zelda

It’s a brand new year! 2018, and it’s going to be a good one!

Lots of new games coming out, like Kingdom hearts 3!

Potentially the biggest summer blockbuster in need history: Marvel Avengers Infinity War!

And to top it all off…

I’m getting married.

No amount of hype is greater than that event which will impact my life, and I’m excited!

So with new year comes resolve. And mine is to write over a hundred times this year.

That’s right, a hundred new blog posts, starting with this one!

I need to discipline writing more, simply put. And it’s not like anyone has to care about what’s written, and neither do i. I’m gonna write anything and everything I like, have fun, and improve myself.

So speaking of improvememt, how about that new Breath of the Wild??? It’s really something.

Most people call it the best game of 2017, haters of Nintendo call it a rip off of other games that inspired it like Shadow of the Colossus, and Skyrim.

And there’s no doubt it shares an open field with lots to explore, colorful scenery, and giant epics to engage in.

But I’m gonna plant my opinion right there in the middle between them. I will acknowledge that it deserves the best game award, while recognize it’s inspiration.

But it also has the Zelda and Nintendo charm. You can drop a weapon to carry an electric charge through a puzzle! You can paraglide from any mountain range and reach your goal from behind instead of the front door! You can even Fight the final boss from the beginning!

It’s a marvelous game, bringing all of the lore from it’s long history of development, to culminate into a masterfully different Zelda experience. I’m proud to go through the classic tale of good vs evil again, because the game is strong.

And that’s all for now, time for bed.
